CITYWORKERS BAROMETER
CityWorkers Barometer: Let Your Voice Be Heard!
🌆 Welcome to City Allies' Ethnographic Journey! 🌟
The CityWorkers Barometer survey is now available through LimeSurvey! It's quick, easy, and anonymous—rest assured, no personal data is stored. If you're curious about the results, you can always check back on our website or leave your email address at the end of the survey to receive updates.
Join me as I embark on an exciting adventure to uncover the heart and soul of the City and learn more about City workers and residents. Led by a passionate aficionado researcher, armed with a degree in Sociology that hasn't seen daylight in 15 years, this project is fueled by personal passion and a love for the City of London.
Without any organisational ties, this endeavour is driven purely by my curiosity and commitment to storytelling. Through Barometers (surveys), interviews, and observations, I'm unraveling the intricacies of urban life in the Square Mile, one thread at a time. Captivated by the stories of individuals, I hold the firm belief that every person has a story that deserves to be told. Let's create together the tapestry of the City.
You might be wondering what an ethnographic journey is. An ethnographic journey involves a deep, immersive experience into the culture, practices, and daily lives of people within a specific community or social group. In this case, it refers to the City of London's community and is usually undertaken for the purposes of academic study, research, or personal enrichment.
Your participation in this journey is invaluable; your responses are completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to you (I mean it! Answers can't be traced back to you. No IP address, no email address, no personal data attached to the survey!).
As part of this exploration, there's also the CityResidents Barometer, along with fun focus groups and the chance to be featured in the "City People Tales: The Chronicles of Urban Life", 2024 Edition!
But my enthusiasm doesn't stop there. As part of our ongoing ethnographic project, I'm continuously developing more initiatives to follow up on the insights gathered from your responses. By participating in the survey, you're not just sharing your experiences—you're actively shaping the future of the City of London. Your feedback will be carried directly to relevant City organisations. I will advocate for change and drive initiatives that address the issues and concerns raised by City residents like yourself. Stay tuned!
Are you ready to join me on this extraordinary adventure? Let's paint a vivid picture of what it means to be a City worker together! 🏙️
Thank you for being a part of this initiative! 🚀
P.S: I get it, sometimes surveys might seem like a marathon. This one takes about 15 minutes to finish. But hey, don't sweat it! You're not on the hook to answer each and every one. So, dive into the Barometer at your own pace and tackle as much as feels right for you. Your input is valued, no matter how many questions you tackle!
Thank you!
